As we wrap up 2023, we have focused on the finer details of venue management. Especially for organizers managing multiple zones or complex buildings, this update provides important new features for security and clarity.

Access Levels for Zones

Not everyone should have access everywhere. With the new Access Levels, you can now define for each zone (stage, backstage, bar, etc.) which permissions are required for entry or management. This is the technical foundation for future automated access management and already provides a clear structure for your venue planning.

Improved Zone Hierarchies

Hierarchical zone management has been optimized. You can now nest zones even more easily (e.g., a room within a floor within a building). SYRAKUS now calculates capacities and occupancy across the entire tree, so you can always see how full your venue is overall.

Multi-Tenancy

Behind the scenes, we reached a major milestone: SYRAKUS is now fully multi-tenant. This means that different organizations can work on the same instance without data getting mixed up. Each organization (Tenant) has its own settings, users, and branding options. This prepares SYRAKUS to grow as a platform for even more partners.

News Branding & Cover Images

Communication should look good. We have introduced the ability to add cover images to news posts. This makes your announcements in the dashboard much more attractive and ensures that important information is better noticed by your team.

We look back on a productive 2023 and look forward to everything coming in 2024!
